About Me

I'm a software engineer, leader, and systems thinker with a background in English literature and education. I've worked across multiple industries, taking on roles as a business owner, educator, and engineer. I am fascinated by the paradoxes that shape human and engineering systems: how software requires both flexibility and constraints to scale, how autonomy and structure must coexist for teams to drive innovation, and how advances in technology blur the lines between intelligence and understanding, while simultaneously connecting and isolating us. Currently, I lead the integrations team at Tilt where I bridge the gap between technology, partnerships, and scalability.
I joined Tilt as the first engineering manager, partnering with the VP of Engineering to scale the team and culture from Series A to Series B. I started leading the team handling the core product and later built out and led our integrations team. Here, my focus is on establishing technical processes and working cross-functionally with HRIS partners and our internal teams. Beyond my direct teams, I've helped shape the broader engineering organization by implementing methodologies like Shape Up for better delivery, driving AI tooling adoption to boost productivity, and establishing career frameworks that were later adopted across the company.
Prior to Tilt, I led the platform engineering team at Articulate and served as the Director of Front-end Engineering at the Turing School of Software and Design. In all of my roles, I've focused on building trust and turning challenges into opportunities through deep connections with my team. Whether I'm solving an engineering problem or mentoring an engineer through their next career step, I create environments where teams can collaborate effectively and thrive.
